End of the week wrapup.
Apple confirmed a problem with some of their iPods. Some of the machines remain in sleep mode when their batteries get low. Apple posted a fix and that should remedy the problem. If not,see http://depot.info.apple.com/ipod/.

Live365 is still down. They say that it is due to reasons that the provider that they were using was not providing sufficient bandwidth. When CNET tried to reach them, they had no comment. Sounds kinda fishy to me. Not enough bandwidth, why close up shop entirely. They do have paid radio content providers. Do they get some sort of a refund for downtime? Why can't they find more bandwidth, it's not like UUnet's phone number is unlisted. According to CNET's article: Cogent Communications, a national data telecom carrier that provides broadband services to Live365's ISP, said it shut down the unnamed service provider Monday.
"We have suspended service to their ISP for repeated violations of our acceptable use policy," said Cogent CEO David Schaeffer, citing "repeated spamming of material, some of which might be considered offensive."
